Training Philosophy

My goal as a Personal Trainer and Coach is to improve my clients’ lives with functional fitness and mobility training.

Functional fitness is exercise that supports the movements of everyday life such as walking, squatting, pushing and pulling, as well as a strong emphasis on core strength and stability.

Mobility plays a key part in functional training, we need to be able to move our joints freely and without pain. I will incorporate specific exercises, stretching and foam rolling to create comprehensively tailored programs that will enhance my client’s quality of life, and building in them the confidence to achieve long-term health and wellness.

When we possess the ability and confidence to move through our daily lives feeling strong and pain free we can truly enjoy all the beauty that life has to offer.

Client Testimonial

"I can't speak highly enough of Julie! Working with her has truly transformed my fitness journey. Her wealth of knowledge in anatomy and therapy techniques is simply remarkable. With her guidance, I've gained a deeper understanding of how my body works and how to effectively train it for optimal results while minimizing the risk of injury.

What sets her apart is her ability to tailor exercises to suit my individual capabilities. She doesn't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, she takes the time to assess my strengths, weaknesses, and any limitations I may have, and then designs a personalized workout plan that challenges me just enough to see progress without pushing me beyond my limits.

Her attention to detail and commitment to my success are evident in every session. Whether it's modifying an exercise to accommodate a previous injury or providing alternative techniques to target specific muscle groups, she always goes above and beyond to ensure I get the most out of my workouts.

Thanks to her expertise and dedication, I've not only achieved my fitness goals but surpassed them. I can't thank her enough for her guidance, support, and encouragement throughout this journey. She's not just a personal trainer; she's a true fitness mentor."
